Floor Art leases a new showroom location at 7625 E Redfield Road, Ste 200, in Scottsdale. The 6,000+ square foot space will showcase many options to choose from - including cabinets, plumbing fixtures, lighting, doors, flooring, and much more. Under the direction of Stephanie Wrzosek, Floor Art expects this design center to host many vendor partners to offer products for all the new leads and prospects we attract to the center. The entire Floor Art team is excited about this new opportunity in a challenging marketplace. The goal is to be ready to meet the needs of builders who may be looking for ways to cut costs by outsourcing the functions previously handled by in-house design center operations and to streamline their current situations.

After many years as a quality carpet craftsman, Randy became a superintendent for a major Valley builder, and then returned to Floor Art to fill the post of field technician. At Floor Art he has shown an incredible drive to help us improve as a company. We are fortunate to have him as part of our team to help us face the ongoing challenges that confront us during the current market conditions. Sheri, Jeff, and JP will now be working with Randy under his leadership and guidance to help meet or exceed our clients' expectations.

He had found some noise in the upstairs floor and also some loose OSB. ,,, I called Sheri directly to see if there was anything that we could do before Monday ... In about a half hour she called back as promised and was able to rearrange the schedule to accommodate Shea Homes and the homeowner. Without Sheri taking the first step the rest of the story would not have been possible. . . . Friday morning when Jeff showed up, he pulled the carpet back, assessed the repair and fixed both issues and put the carpet back into place. WOW!! Talk about going the extra mile! . . . Since the inception of the NHQ Award Program in 1993, Floor Art is the first flooring trade in history to receive the Silver Award and the second trade contractor to be recognized for this honor.

This effort was accomplished by all the hardworking and dedicated group of Floor Art associates and craftsmen.

"I just wanted to give you a quick email about Dale Pfeiffer. I have been working with one of our Customer Care Reps on an urgent tile replacement. There was an error in the Lot # and I was told that it was Legends 97 through emails, forms and phone calls. I had originally questioned if it should be Legends 1st or 2nd phase because it wasn't coming up under just "Legends 97". It did come up in our system under "Legends 2 #97" but different name (which sometimes happens if the home had cancelled and became a Spec or was sold after their purchase). The tile for this Lot had been discontinued and we have been working with our Supplier in trying to find the tile somewhere in the country. They finally located it and it has been shipped in and all was well...Today I received a call from Dale who was putting the work in for you and he asked me if this was for Legends #197 because that is where he was finding that name. I called the Team Leader (because the customer care rep is on vacation) and he did some research and verified that 197 was the correct Lot # after all. I can't tell you how much I appreciated Dale being so on the ball and catching this! He said that he was just helping out but wanted to double check the Lot # just in case. I know it would have been caught when they went to install the tile, but at least it kept us from looking really bad in front of our customer and gives us a little time to scramble around to look for the correct tile! "Floor Art, LLC hosted an Education Seminar Luncheon for approximately 60 managers, supervisors and associates of Brown Family Communities on January 20, 2005 in the Floor Art corporate Learning Center from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

The Floor Art staff gave presentations regarding field issues, process improvement project, flooring standards, purchase orders, website overview and product knowledge. Floor Art has realized it is very valuable and helpful to clients and their staff to continually review and update everyone on the changing and evolving market conditions."
